Our original doormat is the first in our series of our handcrafted doormats and will make an excellent first impression on your guests!
Our reversible, woven polypropylene Cape Cod Doormats are made in the USA to stand up to the rigors of daily use - keeping snow, sand, dirt and debris outside - year after year. Tough polypropylene cordage won't rot from exposure to rain, sun or salt water. Reversible, colorfast, mildew and insect-resistant. Hose clean and quick drying. For non-skid surfaces.

My Solid Color Cape Cod Doormat
Cape Cod doormats have been outside my Cape Cod home for 26 years. I usually replace them every three years or so because the constant foot traffic over time tends to flatten the weave and reduce the appealing textural depth. But this is just an aesthetic issue for me. The mats never unravel or break or fray. They're built to last outside in the changeable coastal climate. I can't imagine I'll ever want a different mat outside my home.

Cape Cod Doormats-Palomino Original
These are far and away the best doormats we have ever owned. They are sturdy, don’t slip and slide, easy to clean and they are very attractive. We ordered them on our decorator’s recommendation for a house in Florida and now plan on ordering them for our houses in Greenwich and Nantucket.

I love these mats. They last forever. Had to buy a few new ones. Just moved. Left old ones at my old house

Only doormat I’d purchase.
I bought my first one twenty years ago. I’m still using one!

the only doormat that works
I lived in Seattle years ago and it was absolutely worth every penny. It was the only doormat that didn’t trap moisture, rot or mildew, dirt drops through mat and cleans shoes.
